“Improving Civility for Attorneys”

Presentation Description: A pledge to strive for civility, a new MCLE required subject for lawyers by the State Bar. Areas covered: State bar mandate and reason for the mandate; link between incivility and bias; intimidation and bullying issues; reasons and tools for change in behavior; dealing with stress and dissatisfaction caused by uncivil behavior; application to attorneys and judges; amends rules of professional conduct; and requires pledge of civility annually.
