Presentation Description: Since August 1,2023, all California lawyers must comply with Rule of Professional Conduct 8.3, which requires a lawyer who knows of credible evidence that another lawyer has engaged in certain conduct to report the lawyer. However, it is not always easy to understand when the duty to report misconduct applies. In this presentation, legal ethics expert Ashod Mooradian will overview new Rule 8.3, analyze when it applies and offer practical direction on how to ensure you are complying with this new ethical duty.
